What to read right now…

The deal that’s a steal…

I’m not a huge fan of Clarks shoes because you have to sift through a lot of ugly ones to find a gem – but they are good quality.

If you are a fan, or just like a bargain, the Clarks Outlet shop* has its end of season sale on right now.

It’s billed as up to 70% off but I spotted a couple of bits that were even more heavily discounted. 

You might, for example, like these Shondrah Jade leopard print low heels*, which are £19 instead of the usual £65, a saving of 71%.

There are bigger discounts across things like socks, bags and children’s shoes.

If you only do one thing…

Six years ago I started Money Talk to get my finances in order.

As part of that, I set myself an ambitious financial goal: to pay off my mortgage early.

I’m incredibly proud and a little apprehensive to share that I managed it in a little over five years.

Since becoming mortgage-free, I’ve been thinking a lot about what I want from my life, especially as I’m about to turn 40.

One of the things I wanted to do this year is to start a new project that’s going to require significantly more time commitment.

It’s very much still in the planning stages but if you’re on TikTok, give me a follow there and I’ll share more when I launch in August.
