What to read right now…
Apparently, the average person who goes to university will be £100,000 better off over their lifetime. But some will also be worse off.
As the cost of living bites, lenders are expecting the number of credit card defaults to go up in the coming months.
“Duh” you might say but high fees imposed by pension providers could reduce the value of your pension by tens of thousands.
Meanwhile, there is apparently £300 billion sitting in bank accounts that are earning zero interest. Go on, shop around for a savings account that does more than nothing.

The deal that’s a steal…

If you’re shopping for Halloween stuff – so decorations, costumes etc – Amazon has a dedicated Halloween shop*.
Everything is discounted and you can also take advantage of offers like “Save 5% on any 4 qualifying items”* and use vouchers*.
I have to say, not everything is massively discounted but there are some bargains if you’re happy to shop around.
They’re selling 50 LED tea light candles* for £13.59, for example, instead of £20, and you could easily use them for something other than Halloween.
If you only do one thing…
