The deal that’s a steal…
Carphone Warehouse* has a Pay Monthly deal for the Google Pixel 6 Pro that costs £33.99 a month for 24 months with no upfront fee.
You get 50GB of data (with data rollover), unlimited texts and unlimited minutes with ID Mobile*, which is Carphone Warehouse’s own network – it’s a great option for travel.
In total, you’ll pay £815.76 – the phone on a sim free basis* is currently £649, normally £849 (I’ve been tracking it for a while as I’m in the market for a new phone).
But until September 12, you’ll also get a free ASUS Chromebook C214 worth £339.99.
Normally I would go sim free but this is actually only slightly more than my current contract so I’ve just signed up.

The big news lately is of course the energy price cap going up from October.
You can check out how much you might expect to pay in energy bills this winter with the handy new calculator from MoneySavingExpert.Â
But perhaps more importantly, submit your meter readings once a month so you get billed accurately.
There’s also lots of financial support around for those who need extra help – this is over and above any existing benefits.
It’s worth having a bit of perspective though – not every energy saving hack is going to save you as much money as you might think.
