But whatever you do, don’t invest in a one bedroom flat. They have apparently become the worst type of investment property, even falling behind studio flats.

And finally, it’s bad news for retirees. They are increasingly returning to work because of the cost of living – but also because they’re lonely.

The deal that’s a steal…

The biggest savings seem to be kids’ outerwear, but there are some ridiculous bargains elsewhere as well.
