What to read right now…

Is the end of salary sacrifice looming because of the new cap on National Insurance relief? For a significant number of businesses, the answer seems to be yes.

It’s a shame because it was such a good incentive for people to save towards their pension.

Meanwhile, three in 10 business owners haven’t saved towards their pension at all.

If you’re self employed (or just a sole trader business owner), here’s my pension guide for you.

And finally, people are rushing to withdraw their pensions due to inheritance tax changes.

The deal that’s a steal…

Zwilling Artis 20cm bread knife

If you’re looking for kitchen stuff, head over to Zwilling*, which has an outrageously discounted offers section* that mixes sales with outlet products.

Some of the items are over 80% off.

Their knife blocks (with the knives, of course) were my favourite when I did a bunch of production testing for work but there are also some serious savings on cast iron products.

One of the biggest discounts? The Zwilling Artis 20cm bread knife*, which is now just £9.95 instead of £58.95.

If you only do one thing…

It’s time to give your savings a bit of review.

Although the Bank of England has held the Bank Rate at 3.75%, interest on savings accounts have been steadily falling over the last few months.

If you have a bit of spare cash, it’s worth considering a regular savings account, which can offer a higher interest rate than an easy access one.

Check out my list of the best savings accounts.
